Sports teams in the area are already gearing up for the Elijah Barayi Easter soccer tournament.
The event will happen at the new sports grounds at the Elijah Barayi mega housing complex over the Easter weekend from 29 March to 1 April.
Senior soccer and netball teams from across the area will take part. Kasi Life Sports, a non-profit organisation run by residents of the Elijah Barayi mega housing complex, organised the event.
Sixteen soccer and 12 netball teams from all over the area have already entered, and the draw to determine fixtures for the event will happen at midday on 24 March.
Various local businesses sponsored this annual event. Team Good from Fochville won last year’s soccer competition.
