The first day of school for many
Many learners from the area had their first school day today.
Whether they went to Grade 1 or are only preparing for the “big school”, these youngsters are ready for more than a decade of education ahead of them.
These are some of the little ones who started schooling today, and whose parents entered them for the Herald My First School Day competition.
The photos of all the entrants so far will go onto another webpage later the week.
