Local paramedic nominated for National Awards

Excellent work to help other recognized.

A local paramedic is one of four Emergency Medical Services paramedical personnel from the West Rand who have been nominated for the National EMS Awards of Excellence on 28 October.

Mrs Lizle (Dempers) Greyling from Carletonville is well-known for the excellent work that she does in the area. The other West Rand nominees are Miss Chriciou Kabaye from Leratong, Mr Tumi Maseko from Westonaria and Mrs Mumsy Maduna from Magalies.

Mr Jurgens Bence, the district manager of EMS in the West Rand, says he is very proud of the nominated personnel.

“This is the first time personnel of West Rand have been nominated for the National Awards,” says Bence.

The National Awards of Excellence will happen at a prestigious black-tie gala dinner at Indaba in Parktown, Johannesburg. Other nominees from Gauteng EMS include the director of EMS, Mr Ruiters, and the district manager from Sedibeng EMS District, Ms Jane Kekana.
