GWM and HAVAL register record sales for October

This Chinese brand has made tremendous strides into the hearts and minds of South African buyers with a range of excellent quality, value for money products.

GWM and HAVAL received top honours in the following categories of the naamsa Accelerator Awards. According to NAAMSA CEO Mikel Mabasa, the latter is set to become the country’s pre-imminent objective, fact-based and most prestigious motoring competition.

GWM and HAVAL awards:

New vehicle sales: GWM P-Series: Winner for light commercial newcomer vehicle of the year.

Manufacturing award: HAVAL Jolion: Winner of the top imported newcomer car of the year.

Dealer awards: HAVAL Umhlanga: Nominated for the most-improved light commercial dealer of the year.

Dealer awards: HAVAL Windhoek: Nominated for the most-improved light commercial dealer of the year.

New vehicle sales: HAVAL Jolion was also nominated for the passenger newcomer of the year award against the Ferrari SF90, Toyota Starlet, KIA Pegas and Mitsubishi Xpander.

HAVAL Motors South Africa has maintained a top 10 ranking on the NAAMSA report in 2022, as well as cracking the top 5 in January and the top 6 in October respectively.

The record results for October demonstrate the brand’s dominance across the automotive landscape in South Africa.
