House robbers strike at lunchtime

House robbers in Carletonville are getting bolder by the day.

The Carletonville police say the latest incident occurred on Thursday, 28 July.
A resident of Lantana Street was busy in his kitchen at approximately 13:00. As he went to his living room, he suddenly saw two unknown men walking into his home. The men rushed towards him and grabbed him. He tried to push his panic button, but the robbers struggled with him and he could not do so. The attackers then assaulted him with knopkieries and proceeded to steal his 55-inch Samsung plasma TV, his Samsung Soundbar and Sony Xbox before running from the house.
