Ross Campbell, spokesman for ER24, said ER24 paramedics were on the scene at 12:33 along with Emfuleni Fire, SAPS and GPG.
“One male patient was found sitting up against another tree away from the vehicle having self extricated. He was found to have suffered moderate injuries and was treated and transported to hospital by GPG.”
Two adult men were found entrapped in the bakkie showing no signs of life.
“They were both declared dead on arrival by ER24. Emfuleni Fire were on hand for the extraction of the deceased.”
Campbell said the details surrounding the incident are unknown by ER24, however the South African Police Services were on the scene for further investigation.
