The company’s new Kwastina, meaning “Home of the Brick” factory, is the most technologically-advanced and environment-friendly brick- manufacturing plant in Africa.
Representing an R800 million investment, Kwastina will be able to produce 100 million bricks a year and small quantities of bespoke products for the architectural market.
Although the factory has already been in full production since the end of March, the official opening, which the President will attend, will take place on Wednesday, 4 May.
