The electricity in this town went off at approximately 03:00 this morning.
Just before the electricity went off some residents said they heard a load humming noise, while others saw a blue flash.
CPF members and politicians went to investigate and found that the substation in 1st Avenue had blown due to cable theft on the side of the Elijah Barayi mega housing project.
As far as could be determined electricians are currently on the scene.
