Thieves poison four dogs, steal two motorbikes.

Motorbike thieves stole two motorbikes and poisoned four dogs in a single incident in Watersedge on the night of 17 October.
The Carletonville police warn motorcycle owners to be very careful as several motorbikes have recently been stolen in the area.
The communication officer, WO Peter Masooa, says everything was still in order when the victim went to bed at around 21:00. He made sure that all the doors on his property were locked and the windows closed. However, when he went out at 05:00 the next morning, there was chaos in his yard.
Thieves had cut through his fence and poisoned all but one of his five dogs. He discovered that they had stolen his metallic blue Yamaha (Reg. No. HY 38 PX GP) and a yellow and black Suzuki (Reg. No. CBS 59734). The combined value of the stolen motorcycles is R210,000 but the dogs’ lives were worth more.
