According to the Carletonville police’s communication officer, WO Peter Masooa, a supervisor at a business in town recently realised that something was amiss with some of the Covid-19 results on the business’s computer system. The fraud was seemingly committed with the results of people who needed to go to Lesotho. The woman found that two of her employees had edited the Covid-19 results of some patients and made printouts with the incorrect information, using the company’s name, stamp and computers. The fraud allegedly occurred in the past two months.
