At around 13:00 on 30 January, a resident, Ms Bianca Mulder (39), drove her white scooter towards the crossing of Onyx Drive and Dolomite Street in Carletonville.
As she took the corner, however, her scooter slipped and she fell. Mulder was transported from the scene to Carletonville Hospital.
A week later, she was transferred to Leratong Hospital, where she later passed away.
The investigating detective, WO Carol Stander, is looking for eyewitnesses to the accident. Anyone who might have seen it happen should call her at 083 253 8522.
