On my mind – Think more, talk less

We’ve been blessed with a precious gift – the ability to talk. Talking enables us to express our feelings, emotions, ideas or plans in words. But, often, overusing them may lead to unexpected results. Speaking and listening in a balanced way are imperative in our world. The noise of useless words
that we throw around to get someone else’s attention creates a thick fog that makes it really difficult to actually understand each other. Ironically, the more we talk, the less we’re able to communicate. I often see/hear people uttering words aimed at making someone feel bad about themselves.
It’s as if the person did not think before saying those words and it can sometimes land you in big trouble. I have noticed that many successful people are very quiet and they do not talk much about their success. Sometimes, talking too much can hinder your success and cause others to jeopardize your success. Those who prefer to think a lot and do more rather than talking too much are introverts. They are quiet by nature and sometimes do not like talking to people. So, what I am trying to say is that thinking more and talking less is much better than making unnecessary conversation with people. Sometimes, talking too much will make you say things you aren’t supposed to say and hurt others.
