A total of 38 residents of the Merafong City local municipality tested positive for the coronavirus during the past day. This brings the total number of cases in our area to 4 055. Of these 3 635 people have recovered and 99 have passed way. In the meantime there are now also 11 427 positive cases in Mogale City (the Krugersdorp area), of which 10 196 have recovered and 302 have died. There are also 6 173 positive cases in the Rand West City (the Randfontein and Westonaria area), of which 5 408 have recovered and 163 have died.
