Shortly after 1 am on Sunday, paramedics from ER24 and various other services attended the scene where they found three vehicles involved in a collision. Upon assessment, they found that one person was trapped underneath one of the vehicles. Sadly, the man succumbed to his injuries before paramedics’ arrival on the scene.
Seven others were treated on the scene for injuries ranging from minor to moderate. They were all transported to Carletonville Hospital for further care.
The exact circumstances surrounding the collision is not known. Local authorities attended the scene.
