Pet owners will be able to have their dogs and cats vaccinated for free against rabies next week again.
According to an inspector of the Carletonville SPCA, Ms Elloise Rootman, officials of the office of the state veterinarian will be in Carletonville to vaccinate pets on Tuesday, 18 August and Wednesday, 19 August. The vacci- nations will be done at the SPCA’s kennels in Beerster Street from 09:00 to 15:00 on both days.
All dogs and cats are required by law to be vaccinated against this fatal and fearsome disease.
Meanwhile, there are also many lovely pets at the SPCA looking for a home.
Those interested in adopting a furry friend in need can also visit the kennels to find one.
