Free vaccinations at SPCA

Pet owners must remember to take their pets to the Carletonville SPCA (Society For The Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) for free rabies vaccinations this week.

An inspector at the Carletonville SPCA, Ms Elloise Rootman, says the State Veterinarians’ Office will be hosting a rabies vaccination drive on 5 and 6 February.
It will take place at the SPCA kennels in Beerster Street.
While they are there, owners can also pay to have their animals dewormed and microchipped.
“Everyone is welcome to bring their pets,” she says.
Free rabies vaccinations are also planned for Khutsong on 12 and 13 February.
