Warehouse auction coming

Park Village Auction’s (PVA) upcoming warehouse auction will bring all this and more under the hammer.

Stemming from various notable insolvent estates and liquidations, PVA will bring to market “truckloads” of goods and equipment on August 26.

Goods to be auctioned include a large assortment of exclusive home furniture – including antique pieces, lounge suites, armchairs, dining room suites, bedroom suites, fridges, paintings, wingback chairs and couches.

New RC-C50 and 60 cable covering extruders and components will be auctioned alongside an assortment of quality catering equipment comprising grillers, deep fryers and display fridges, among many other such assets.

A large assortment of executive office furniture and effects – including granite-top desks, leather high-back chairs, executive boardroom tables, tub chairs, conference tables, stationery cupboards, filing cabinets, PCs, printers, photocopiers and fax machines – will also go under the hammer.

Additional miscellaneous auction items include a Sealpack shrink-wrap tunnel, wide format, brand-name printers, a sealing machine, industrial scales and hand tools.

Notes PVA’s Elaine Hague: “Times are tough and many are seeking new ways to source the equipment and goods they need.

“Warehouse auctions such as ours represent an excellent opportunity for savvy buyers to pick up what they need at excellent prices.

“And there are some real gems to be had at this auction, especially among the home furniture and executive office pieces. Gone are the days when people turned up their noses at second-hand furniture and assets. Thrifty is ‘in’ and we expect it to be the norm for some time to come.”

Info:

> The auction will commence on site at PVA’s warehouse at 14 Prolecon Road in Johannesburg at 10.30am.

> Viewing will take place on August 25 between 9am and 3pm.
