A dam good investment

To city dwellers, spending a weekend at Harties is all about relaxation, fun and adventure.

If you drive along the roads around Hartbeespoort you’ll come across a variety of restaurants, flea markets and unique shops – most with a distinct style and charisma.

What attracts visitors to Hartbeespoort is the abundance of cultural and heritage sites, animal sanctuaries and all sorts of family and adventure activities.

On November 26, Van’s Auctioneers will sell a large unimproved stand in Schoemansville.

The suburb is situated North East of Hartbeespoort Dam, bordering Melodie and Ifafi, as well as the dam wall and floodgates.

The Hartbeespoort dam zoo, cableway and dam wall make Schoemansville a very popular place for tourists and day visitors, and there are a number of star guesthouses, galleries and shops in the area.

It is also one of the oldest and most established suburbs of Hartbeespoort. Schoemansville is nestled in the foothills of the scenic Magalies Mountains and overlooks the tranquil waters of the Schoemansville Yacht Club.

The residential stand to be auctioned is approximately 1 800m2 in extent and is situated in a cul-de-sac with lush forest-like surroundings.
