Help your child make a colourful paper plate fan — All you need is some paint, a paper plate, and a popsicle stick to make a pretty fan!

Colourful paper plate fans will be a hit with the kids. Assist smaller children by performing the glueing for them. You can use a glue gun for speed if you keep it out of reach of small children.

What you need

A paper plate
Scissors
Lollipop/craft sticks
Markers
Paint and brushes
Glue

How to make it

Fold the paper plate in half.
Let your child paint their plate. Allow a few minutes for each side to dry before flipping over to paint the opposite side.
Colour with markers once completely dry.
Glue the craft sticks together at one end at a 90-degree angle, then adhere to the back of the plate.
Allow the glue to dry before letting your child play with their fan.
