Smokie concerts postponed

Tour is only postponed and definitely not cancelled.

In light of the recent announcement by President Cyril Ramaphosa regarding emergency measures to stop the spread of the coronavirus-outbreak in South Africa, Lefra has decided to postpone the Smokie concerts due to be held at the end of March at Carnival City and other venues around the country.

Frans Swart, managing director of Lefra Productions, explained the Smokie tour is only postponed and definitely not cancelled.

Lefra is currently in discussion with Smokie’s management and the venues to find suitable dates later this year for the concerts to continue.

The new dates will be announced shortly.

Ticket holders may transfer their tickets to the new dates without having to get a refund and rebook their tickets.

Patrons who already booked tickets are requested to hold on to their tickets until the new dates are announced, where after tickets can just be transferred to the new dates.
