Enjoy an afternoon at the opera

Aldrich (25) told the Herald he feels it is important to keep the arts alive on the East Rand.

Opera lovers are in for a treat on Saturday, September 28, when local opera singer Albert Aldrich hosts a spring music concert in Brakpan.

The concert will take place at 3pm at the NG Kerk Moedergemeente, Brakpan (73 Victoria Avenue).

The audience can look forward to famous arias from big operas like Aïda, La Favorita, The Tales of Hoffmann and Carmen, and from operetta’s like The Merry Widow and Spring Parade.
