A smoky affair is expected when the seventh round of the South African Drift Championships slides into town on September 2 at the Rock Raceway in Brakpan.
If you are an adrenaline junkie then this one is for you.
Drifters from all corners of South Africa will once again converge on the local circuit to rev up their chariots’ engines, drop the clutch and go sideways.
Drifters will light up their drift car tyres and produce a smoke-filled spectacle set to delight the patrons.
The judges’ circuit layout will test the skill levels of all the drifters as they all chase for the ultimate prize of victory.
Gates open at 10am with practice sessions for drifters.
Qualifying and event proceedings will commence proper at 4pm.
