Stars of the Ballet Russia

Stars of the Ballet Russia is a tribute to the greatest male ballet dancer of the twentieth century, Rudolph Nureyev. Presented by Edouard Miasnikov, experience the life and works of the Russian sensation known for his technical prowess and unmistakable grace. Two performances will take place in the Theatre of Marcellus at Emperors Palace.

DJ Fresh at Bru’s

Uber-popular Metro FM jock, DJ Fresh will be hitting the decks at Carnival City’s Bru’s for two super-charged parties. He will perform a dynamic mix of house, kwaito, progressive house and commercial music as only DJ Fresh know how.

Inspiring high tea

Zelda la Grange is set to inspire guests at a motivational yet spirited high tea event at Carnival City. Special guest appearance by Miss South Africa 2017, Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters, and MC Nomalanga Sitole. The Mad Hatter’s Tea themed tea party will take place at 10am in the Rio Ballroom.

Bikers’ Run

A Bikers’ Run against rape and abuse will take place from 7am, from the Fireplace Roadhouse, in Brakpan, to The Zone, in Boksburg. Families are welcome to join at The Zone from 11am. Celebrating women achievements

Vosloorus Spruitview Business Against Crime will be hosting a campaign to activate 365 Days of Activism Against Women and Children. This is an event aimed at celebrating women achievements but at the same time create awareness on women and children killings. This event will take place from 4pm at Mardi Gras in Carnival City.

Business Premium Gospel Festival

The Business Premium Gospel Festival features the top names in the South African Gospel music industry and promises to be a powerful night of praise and worship. The final leg of the Business Premium Weekend 2017 takes place at Carnival City’s Big Top Arena. Doors open at 5pm.

Non-stop laughter

For those in need of a good laugh, head to Emperors Palace and check out Tumi Morake and seven of South Africa’s funniest comedians take to the stage for a show that promises to keep audiences in stitches from start to finish. The show takes place in the Centre Court and starts at 8pm.

EFC 62

For the first time in EFC history, two champions from two different divisions are scheduled to collide. At EFC 62 at Carnival City the middleweight champion, England’s Yannick Bahati will face the EFC welterweight champion, South Africa’s Dricus du Plessis, for the EFC middleweight championship of the world.

Cobra Club Concourse

The Cobra Club of South Africa is bringing the beauty and power of these magnificent automobiles to Emperors Palace for the Cobra Club Concourse 2017. Visitors can see AC Cobras, GT 40s and Datonas. Start-up will be at noon at the Red Roman Shed parking lot. The event is free to the public.

Shreya Ghoshal

The internationally acclaimed and award-winning ‘Queen of Bollywood’, Shreya Ghoshal, returns by popular demand, to serenade South African fans at Emperors Palace. Ghoshal will be accompanied by Kinjal Chattopadhyay, with support performances by Shaheer Sheikh and Kushal Tandon. The show takes place at 6pm in the Centre Court.
