A Brakpan Women United in Prayer meeting will be held at the St Andrews Presbyterian Church, 84 Hastings Avenue. The meeting will start at 2.30pm. This is an interdenominational women’s prayer group. For more information, contact Luzonne Bekker (082 890 3799).

June 29

Hirsch’s Carnival, situated at 22 Nossob Street, will host its monthly business networking morning at 8.30am for 9am. The guest speaker will be Steve Swartz and the topic is ‘Online Radio’. A Bikers’ Run against rape and abuse will take place from 7am, from the Fireplace Roadhouse, in Brakpan, to The Zone, in Boksburg. Families are welcome to join at The Zone from 11am. Monday

Tuesday

A Narcotics Anonymous meeting for people who have a problem with drugs – or think they may have a problem with drugs – is held every Tuesday, at 7.30pm, at the St John the Baptist Catholic Church, 74 Queen Avenue.

The Just Wheels Car Club hosts an open day at the clubhouse, every last Sunday of the month. The club is situated at 169 Kitzinger Avenue, Dalview.
