Leef die fantasiewêreld van sprokies en romanse, waar die klassieke verhaal van die slapende skone op die verhoog uitspeel as ’n splinternuwe Afrikaanse pantomime, Doringrosie. Die vertoning vind plaas 2 Junie om 7.30nm en 3 en 4 Junie om 11vm en 3nm by Emperors Palace se Theatre of Marcellus.

Brakpan SPCA ‘blikkie skud’
A ‘blikkie skud’ in aid of the Brakpan SPCA will take place at the Mall@Carnival robots. Volunteers will be stationed at the intersection of Airport Drive/Athlone Avenue and Heidelberg Road, from 9am until noon. People who would like to volunteer can contact the SPCA office (011 740 2007).
Flea market

Winter Wine Festival
Come raise a glass with more than 70 wine producers offering over 400 wines, bubblies, craft gin, craft beers and more for your enjoyment. The festival takes place from noon to 4pm at the Red Roman Shed, at Emperors Palace. No children under 18 and no chairs, cooler boxes, picnic baskets or braais will be permitted.
One night with Elvis
Join Andre Nel in this spectacular commemoration of the 40th anniversary of Elvis’ life and music from 1957 to 1977. Andre will be performing some of the most popular hits of Elvis’ lifetime at Carnival City’s Mardi Gras Theatre. This is an absolute must-see for all Elvis lovers. The show starts at 8pm.

Pretdag
Die Jabes Sorgsentrum hou ‘n pretdag wat om 10vm te Taftlaan 7 plaasvind. Verskeie kunstenaars gaan deur die loop van die dag optree. Daar sal ook verskeie stalletjies wees en die Chevy en Lumina Groep gaan hul voertuie uitstal. Vir stalletjie besprekings kan Jolene van Zyl (076 472 5491) gekontak word.
Lollos
Lollos is ‘n opvoedkundige Afrikaanse vertoning gerig op kinders tussen die ouderdomme van een en 10 jaar oud. Lollos se hele uitgangspunt is om kinders aktief te kry en saam te dans. Die vertonings is dus uniek deurdat terwyl hulle lekker saam beweeg en fiks word hul ook iets leer. Lollos sal om 4nm by die NG Kerk Dalpark wees met ‘n nuwe vertoning, Mallemeule.
10 Junie
‘n Boeremark word by die Brakpan Tuinsentrum, te Dirk van der Hoffweg, gehou, vanaf 9vm. Talle stalletjies en vermaak.

Soulful night
Soulful Night with Hugh Masekela: Jazz Legends Edition is absolutely not to be missed. The show takes place in Carnival City’s Big Top Arena. As well as Hugh Masekela, the line-up features jazz greats such as Caiphus Semenya, Bhudaza Mapefane and Dumza Maswana. Doors open at 5pm and the show starts at 6pm.

Fiela se Kind
Dalene Matthee se baie bekende Fiela se Kind is deur Suzanne van Wijk vir die verhoog verwerk en Frans Swart hanteer die regie. Die verhoogstuk vind om 8nm plaas en Saterdae en Sondae is daar ook ‘n vroeë vertoning van 3nm, by die Theatre of Marcellus by Emperors Palace.

Crown Gospel Blestival
The Crown Gospel Blestival is a celebration of the SABC Crown Gospel music awards. The event will highlight the success of these awards through performances of the winners and nominees of the previous years. The event takes place at 2pm in Carnival City’s Big Top Arena.

Hirsch’s Carnival, situated at 22 Nossob Street, will host its monthly business networking morning at 8.30am for 9am. The guest speaker will be Steve Swartz and the topic is ‘Online Radio’.
