Young talents face off on stage

Revue 2016 is an exciting, exhilarating talent show broadcast on kykNET NOU, on DSTV channel 146, every Sunday at 5pm.

The four finalists in the primary school category of Revue 2016 have been announced.

Laerskool Baanbreker (junior), from Boksburg, Laerskool Wonderboom, from Pretoria, Laerskool Kruinsig, from Kempton Park, and Laerskool Baanbreker (senior) will come up against one another in a fight for the winning position during a live television broadcast from the Big Top Arena, Carnival City, at 5pm on December 18.

Revue 2016 is an exciting, exhilarating talent show broadcast on kykNET NOU, on DSTV channel 146, every Sunday at 5pm.

A behind-the-scenes show can also be enjoyed on the same channel on Mondays at 7.30pm.

Initially, 12 primary schools were selected for the show.

After the 12 had performed, just eight survived the eliminations and now they are down to four finalists.

The presenters of Revue 2016 are Sue Pyler, Hendri Myburgh, Mandi Baard and Danie Putter.

On hand to ensure that schools are judged correctly are three experienced stars of the South African entertainment industry – actress and writer Lizz Meiring, singer and songwriter Pieter Smith and international mimicry master John Jacobs.

Behind Revue 2016 is the passionate Frans Swart, of Lefra Communication and Marketing.

In addition to a certificate for each winner, cash prizes to the value of R50 000 are up for grabs as well as meat hampers to the value of R25 000 for the winning primary and high schools.
