Beautiful, flowing dresses, sold-out concert venues, an exceptionally talented violinist and chilling world-class vocals.

This is Celtic Woman, the Irish music sensation and one stage production of the year you do not want to miss.

Carnival City will play host to this traditionally Irish all-women group on September 18 as part of the ensemble’s Destiny World Tour.

“We are so excited about being part the first leg of Celtic Woman’s world tour,” said Michelle Smith, Carnival City’s marketing manager.

“This is a rare musical event not to be missed.”

Celtic Woman first captured the attention of America in a concert now described as a cultural phenomenon a decade ago.

Since then, they have travelled to Australia, Germany, France, Belgium, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Japan and Brazil to perform.

The group will perform old traditional Irish songs such as, “Bean Pháidín” and “Siúil A Run”, and are bound to draw fans to the beauty of Ireland’s customs and Gaelic language.

Not only do the women appeal to the Irish or fans of Irish music, but they will also be performing favourites known to all, such as “Amazing Grace” and “You Raise Me Up.”

Singing motivational songs with strong themes of love, loss and hope, Celtic Woman has transcended national and cultural boundaries.

Whilst bringing across such a strong sense of where they are from and Ireland’s history, they also captivate fans with their fresh, consistently renewed sounds, presenting modern day Ireland.
