As the saying goes “You strike a woman, you strike a rock”. In celebration of powerful female characters who have fought back against abuse and violence, here are some awesome clips of the action. These are definitely not for sensitive viewers.

William Congreve once coined the saying “Hell hath no fury than a woman scorned” and since it is 16 Days of Activism, its only appropriate that we pay homage to some famous on screen female characters that have hit back against domestic violence and abuse.
