Die NG Kerk Dalpark se jaarlikse fees, wat vanjaar ’n kermis, padkafee en talentkompetisie insluit vind plaas. Die fees bied vermaak vir oud en jonk, talle stalletjies, springkastele en interessante speletjies. Besoek die kerk se webblad, www.dalpark.co.za vir meer inligting.
Die AP Kerk, Brakpan hou ’n vlooimark en kattebakverkoping op die sportgronde van Laerkool Die Arend. Die publiek kan spasie huur vir dié doel. Daar sal baie eetgoed beskikbaar wees en aktiwiteite om die kinders mee besig te hou. Vir meer inligting kontak Magda Nell (084 510 0725).

Die Pinkster kerk van Christus bied ’n vertoning met Danie Botha aan in die Eric Holdtmansaal, Tweedy Park om 10vm. Kerrie-en-rys sal te koop wees. Vir kaartjies kontak Chantelle Clingen (082 520 6884).
August 27
The St Peter’s Anglican Church hosts a charity golf day at the State Mines Golf Club. Anyone interested can contact the church office between 9am and 1pm (011 740 0260).
28 Augustus
Die NG Kerk Dalview hou hul jaarlikse basaar in die vorm van ’n Boerefees by die kerk, wat op die hoek van Acton- en Willeystraat, Dalview geleë is. Die kerk, oorkant Laerskool Dalview, beman kosstalletjies in die saal, maar ander stalletjies sal aan buite uitstallers verhuur word. Die basaar begin om 4nm. 5 September
Die Laerskool Dalview hou weer ’n Dalview Fiesta met kunstenaars soos Snotkop, Bobby van Jaarsveld, Flooze, Die Campbells, Mwah! en Tjiff en Tjaff. Die fiesta sluit stalletjies, ’n biertuin en gladiator-glybane in. Skakel die skool vir kaartjies en inligting (011 744-3708).
9 – 10 Oktober
Die Pannefees word op die sportgronde van Laerskool Die Arend aangebied. Kunstenaars soos Steve Hofmeyr, Gerhard Steyn en Armand Hofmeyr tree op by die fees.
