Get ready for the Jazz Festival

Three of the country’s foremost jazz and soul outfits will be taking to the stage as part of the Business Premium Jazz Festival at Carnival City’s Big Top Arena in August.

The stellar line-up features award winning Acapella group, The Soil, multiple SAMA and Metro Award winner, Zonke Dikana, fast-rising eclectic soul music ensemble, The Muffinz and Native Rhythm newcomer Tribute Birdie Mboweni

Music fans can ready themselves for an evening of superlative entertainment by these top calibre artists on August 22.

The day before, August 21, there is a string of sought-after and emerging comedians collaborating for the Business Premium Comedy Festival.

“We have a weekend full of super-charged entertainment on the cards with the Business Premium Comedy and Jazz Festivals taking place.

“There are great comedians and artists on the bill,” said Matthew Cook, the entertainment and events manager at Carnival City.

The jazz festival will have jazz enthusiasts on their toes for four solid hours.

The show will start at 8pm but the doors to the Big Top will open earlier at 7pm.
