Inspiring young women’s lives
Seduction, physical wellbeing, entrepreneurship and living a purposeful life.
These were the topics at hand at the Leadership 2020 Inspired Women’s Workshop held at the Birchwood Hotel recently.
The intimate workshop saw elegant women from different walks of life gather for an interactive session which covered all aspects of an “inspired woman’s life”.
The session set off to a tantalising start with relationship expert, Mandisa Mahlobo, who gave the women counsel on how to enhance their self-esteem and spice-up their relationships by practising the art of seduction.
She was followed by Suze Styles, a business woman who shared her experiences on the journey of entrepreneurship, which she began at the tender age of eight years old.
Titled “Creating something out of nothing”, her presentation focused on developing a skill to spot a niche in the market, taking calculated risks, persistence and listening to one’s inner voice when making business decisions.
The challenges she encountered as a woman in a patriarchal and competitive business world were an eye-opener to all.
She encouraged the women to remain strong when times get tough and to always be goal orientated.
Though Styles has made a lot of money, and lost over R5-million of it, she has found peace in doing what “she was meant to do”.
Get Your Zumba On’s Syreeta Smith reminded women that their effectiveness in the homes, workplaces and businesses was dependant on the strength and wellness of the bodies.
The super-fit Zumba ambassador encouraged women to make at least three commitments that would change their lives for the better.
The Leadership 2020 Inspired Women’s Workshop ended on a high note with a motivational conversation titled “Unwind your mind to power your world” presented by internationally acclaimed author, speaker, professional coach and business consultant, Tumi Frazier.
Frazier had the women eating out of the palm of her hand as she planted seeds of wisdom in their hearts.
