Seven members from the Brakpan Pool Club will compete in the South African National Championships in September in Cape Town.
The club is delivering two A1 open players, two senior players, a B1 open player, an A2 open player and a juniors U18 reserve player.
The championships will take place from September 22 to October 12. The A and B open categories accept all ages, while juniors – U18 only play against other juniors, and seniors against other seniors.
Brakpan Pool Club is also looking for junior and ladies players to join to grow the club. While registration for the ladies’ league, which kicks off on July 1, is already closed, ladies are still welcome to join the club as members and get together on Wednesday nights for social games.
The club is now situated at the Royal Oak Country Club, at 1 Prince George Avenue.
