Panne to play plenty of rugby

Brakpan Rugby Club’s first XV’s scheduled Super League match against QBR in Pretoria on Saturday was postponed due to a rain-soaked field.

The match was subsequently postponed to Wednesday night (March 28), after going to print.

Following the Easter weekend, the ‘Panne’ will face a true test when they host Rustenburg Impala at Bosman Stadium on April 7.

The combined Super League and Valke Peregrine League season is set to be enthralling; these are Brakpan’s scheduled fixtures for the season:

• Impala at Bosman Stadium, April 7. (First side only).

• Boksburg at Boksburg, April 14. (First, second and u-21 teams).

• NWU at Bosman Stadium, April 21. (First, second and u-21 teams).

• Springs at Bosman Stadium, April 25, night game. (First, second and u-21 teams).

• Vereeniging at Vereeniging, May 5. (First, second and u-21 teams).

• Naka Bulle at Bosman Stadium, May 12. (First side only).

• Tukkies at University of Pretoria, May 19. (First side only).

• Centurion at Centurion, May 26. (First side only).

• Impala at Rustenburg, June 9. (First side only).

• Kempton at Bosman Stadium, June 16. (First, second and u-21 teams).
