Prepare for an all-in-one showdown
Christmas is around the corner and motorsport enthusiasts are in for a delightful festive treat at The Rock Raceway on Saturday, December 12.
The annual, much-loved Rockmania All-in-one Showdown returns to the circuit where petrol heads can get one last dose of high-energy motorsport before the year comes to a conclusion.
Oval drivers, drifters, Formula N circuit drivers, legends and drag racers will all take part at the circuit.
If adrenaline is your lifeblood then Rockmania is an event not to be missed.
Rotary fans and lovers of roaring V8 engines will also be treated, with the Super Midgets battling it for a podium spot and the V8 Outlaw Sprints smoking their tyres in a high speed chase to the finish.
Other favourite competing categories include Kids In Racing SA Ninja class (ages six to 12 years), 100cc Micro Midgets, 125 Shifter Karts, Formula 2 Midgets, 1600 Stock Rods, 1660 Modified Saloons, Super Midgets, V8 Lexus class, 2.1l Pinto class, Super Saloons and Formula N circuit racing.
The popular Inex World Championship Series Legends Racing, which originated in the USA, will also be in action as local drivers take to the circuit in their old ’60s and ’70s Ford and Chevrolet replicas, powered by a Yamaha motorbike engine.
The Legends were the very first Nascar vehicles to be raced in the USA.
If you are a street-to-strip racer and live for straight line racing then you will also be pleased to know that there will be drag racing at the event.
