Boost your adrenaline level
High octane oval racing action comes to the Rock Raceway on Saturday, May 9, when all the popular, favourite drivers flock to the circuit.
Various racing disciplines will be on display at the Brakpan racetrack and fans of V8 motor vehicles in particular are in for a delightful treat.
The Outlaw V8 Sprint cars and Lexus V8s will please those spectators who are craving high adrenaline, while fans of the rotary engine will be equally excited when the flame-spitting rotary Super Midgets stream around the Rock track.
A host of Oval Saloon classes will also be racing on the day, including the 1600 Stock Rods, 1660 Modified Saloons, Pinto Classes and Super Saloons, while open wheelers will include the Ninja Kids in Racing South Africa (ages three to 12 years old), 100cc Micro Midgets, 125 karts and Formula 2 Midgets.
Gates open at 10am and racing starts at 4pm.
Meanwhile, on Sunday night, May 10, the Rock Raceway will once again host the Maxed Out Street 2 Strip Drags where drivers can drag race their daily drive in a safe and responsible environment.
