Dalpark respond with a win
Brakpan-based Dalpark Football Club (DFC) answered the calls, by coach Brian Fray, for improvement in the Benoni South Local Football Association (BSLFA) Division One, on Saturday, April 25.
This comes after a 3-1 defeat the week prior to Lovers FC.
The team took on Leachville Shooters and emerged as 1-0 victors courtesy of a Katebile Madumo goal.
“We played well, but I think that we can still do better as we controlled the game completely and had some good chances to kill the game off,” said Fray.
“We still have about eight games left to play in the league, so I hope that we can keep the momentum going to get a good position on the log come the end of the season.
“The players are really working hard in every game, but we are losing concentration at crucial times.”
This week, DFC will play against FC Verneers at the Actonville Stadium, in Benoni.
The game kicks off at 3pm on Saturday, May 2.
