On your marks! It’s almost time for the Birchwood Cross the Line marathon

Gauteng’s well-loved half marathon, the Birchwood Cross the Line, will take place this year on Sunday, April 12.

Once again, the marathon will be held in and around the beautiful grounds of the Birchwood Hotel and OR Tambo Conference Centre, in Boksburg.

In its fifth year, the CGA approved race is set to be the biggest yet with over 3000 athletes expected to register for the 21.1km, 10km and 5km races.

Cross the Line, which attracts both serious athletes and families looking for a fun day out (walkers are welcome), starts at Birchwood Hotel in Viewpoint Road.
