Christmas showdown at the Rock
The popular Rockmania Christmas Showdown is back by popular demand and will, for sure, be a show-stopper this year.
The Rock Raceway circuit in Brakpan will roar into life with high-octane power as all the favourite racing and drifting drivers in various disciplines gather for this festive event on December 13.
The challenge is on in the drifting section, as the Mozambicans take on the South Africans in a friendly Southern African challenge.
There will also be plenty of V8 action from the Outlaw V8 Sprints Cars and Lexus V8s.
A host of oval Saloons classes will be racing, including the 1600 Stock Rods, Retro Rods, Pinto classes and Super Saloons.
Open wheelers will include the Ninja Kids In Racing SA (three to 12 years old), while the Micro Midgets, 125 Karts and Formula 2 Midgets will also be in action.
The event will wrap up with a fireworks display.
Gates open at 10am and racing starts at 3pm.
