Drifting with a purpose
The final round of the Cambees Midas SA Drift Series will be held at the Rock Raceway circuit, on November 1.
The event will also serve as a memorial for the late Zaf Bham, owner of Cambees Midas in Benoni.
The Rock Raceway team, members, drifters, family and friends of Bham will gather at the circuit for the closure of the season’s drift series, to remember him.
Abie Sada, Rock Raceway marketing, said: “On behalf of the Rock Raceway we would like to extend our sincere condolences to the Bham family during their time of grief, Zaf will be dearly missed.”
On the drifting front it will be the drivers who will unleash their sideways mastery on the track.
The rule of engagement is hard and fast and relies heavily on the participation of the crowd.
Car sound fanatics will be treated to the Logo 2 Loud sound-off testing.
