Red line racing at The Rock
Drivers will rev up their engines and hotfoot it around the 400m tar oval, in various racing disciplines, at The Rock Raceway circuit, in Brakpan, on Saturday, September 13, when the Red Line Race Cup Championships take place.
There will be high-speed action from the Formula N circuit cars, which will keep fans riveted to their seats as the saloon car drivers jostle for positions around the always tricky circuit.
A variety of Oval classes will be in action, including the Kids in Racing SA Ninja Class, with children as young as three years their 60cc Sprint Car Karts.
Lovers of V8 engines can look forward to plenty of exhilarating action from the Outlaw V8 Sprint group and the V8 Lexus and Flexi classes.
Saloon car fans will enjoy the 1600 Stock Rods, 1660 Modified Saloons, Pinto Class and Super Saloons that will be on display, while karting fans will see the 100cc Micro Midgets and the 125 karts in action.
Gates open at noon and racing starts at 4pm.
