It is almost time for Benoni Northerns Athletic Club to host the annual Rowlin National Night Race.
Road warriors are encouraged to get their entries in for this immensely popular and festive race.
This year’s race takes place on the night of Wednesday, November 5, and will comprise of 5km, 10km and 15km runs through the streets of Northmead, Rynfield and Morehill.
It has attracted runners and walkers of all age groups and folks come from far and wide to participate.
The organisers have encouraged homeowners living along the route to decorate their homes, play music and support the runners in the spirit and theme of Christmas.
Advertising boards, handouts and other media will be made available well ahead of the time, to prepare residents for road closures.
The 10km and 15km runs will start from Benoni Northerns Sports Club at 7pm, while the 5km will start at 7.10pm.
Entries will be taken at the start, from 5pm on the night, or can be submitted online at www.enteronlince.co.za.
