Sideways action returns

Drifters will take over the Rock Raceway Circuit on April 6, for the second round of the Japan Auto Drift series.

The Japan Auto Series is a breeding ground for young drifters to showcase their skills and, with a large contingency of entrants attracted to the event, the sport is clearly on the up and up.

A Silver Cup is hosted, which gives the novice drivers a second opportunity to show their potential and also ensures them that all is not lost in the competition should they not qualify for the top 16 of the Gold Cup.

For the Silver Cup, winners on the podium are awarded trophies, but no championship points or prize money.

Drifting fans can make their way to the Rock when the gates open for business, at 10am

Qualifying starts at 2pm and tandems commence from 4pm.
