Thirty-two teams over two divisions will participate in the weekend’s three-man speedball event, with 21 Division Five (D5) teams and 11 Division Four (D4) teams. The SARPL is held at various paintball venues around the country and is dedicated to players and teams who want to improve their skills on the field and have fun doing it.
- Set 1 will start at 7.30am sharp (Division 5 teams).
- Set 2 will start at 10.48am (Division 5 teams).
- Set 3 will start at 1.48pm (Division 4 teams).
- Play-Offs will start at 5pm.
Gustav du Buisson, from Bridge 82, said a number of new teams have been formed for this year’s RPL and a team like Brutal are one of the favourites to win. He said that Uprising could also be a surprise package. “Spectators can expect a lot of excitement at the event and are welcome to join us on Sunday,” he added. “The venue is one of the best around and there are very few that match our standards.”
