Currie Cup Division One rugby made a return to the Bosman Stadium, in Brakpan, on Friday, August 2.
The visiting Eastern Province Kings were in a hungry mood and amassed six tries on their way to a 44-18 victory over the East Rand team.
Kings captain, Mpho Mbiyozo, scored a hat trick and ran the Valke players ragged at times.
The Valke will be disappointed with the result especially as they defeated the Border Bulldogs in Kempton Park, on Friday, July 26, and were looking to get a winning streak going.
The Valke now have the tough challenge of travelling to the Steval Pumas in Nelspruit.
