Rubbish bins left at gate is ‘wheelie’ annoying

Refuse collectors just ignored his attempts.

Eddie Martens writes by email:

For two weeks in a row now the refuse collectors have left a number of rubbish bins at the gate of my property.

We then have to sort out the bins and deliver them back to their owners or leave them in the street to be taken/stolen.

Today (June 18) I was just too late to get to the gate but tried calling out to the refuse collectors who just ignored my attempts.

This may not seem to be a huge problem but it still entails getting out of your car to move bins out of the way before being able to access your own gate.

Is this the service for which I am paying R174.41 a month?
