The Brakpan Cemetery is nothing more than a disgusting piece of real estate, unkempt, filthy, decaying infrastructure, where our loved ones have been laid to rest.
The main entrance has been vandalised, and the once imposing metal gates stripped and the pillars destroyed.
Fear takes hold as trashy elements loiter, waiting, no doubt, to pounce on some unsuspecting visitor wishing to meditate in tranquillity, as they reminisce about their departed loved ones.
What was once kept neat and clean in honour of those departed, is a disgrace.
Those in charge should be fired immediately, as these individuals are clueless.
