Fifteen athletes from Muriel Brand School will be competing at the Toyota National Championships for the Physically Disabled 2023 as members of the Gauteng team.
The championships will take place at the Greenpoint Stadium in Cape Town from March 18 to 22.
The school’s athletes have been hard at work training and look forward to participating.
The athletes are Chane Brink, Thato Mthembu, Daniel Molobela, Jacques Schutte, Benno Schoeman, Simphiwe Dlamini, Teagon Coimbra, Duncan Theunissen, Kaylyn Payne, Hlelo Modise, Yamkela Ntlanti, Donique van den Berg, Thabo Maje, Matume Malatsi and Anja Theron.
“We truly believe that they will achieve excellent results,” said Lauren Fremouw, Muriel Brand School sports organiser and team manager.
