Book your spot for charity golf day

Funds raised will be used by the foundation to make a meaningful impact in the the lives of others.

Dalpark-based The Lazarus Legacy Foundation will host its annual charity golf day at the Benoni Country Club on October 13.

Funds raised on the day are used towards the attainment of the organisation’s objectives, which is to actively engage government, private corporations and civil society to deliver workable and impactful solutions in the areas of:

• Education: enabling success in education through tutoring, support and guidance.

• Community building: implementing moral regeneration initiatives that address the ills and failings of societal living.

• Health and welfare: delivering health and welfare initiatives to the disenfranchised.

• Economic development: encouraging entrepreneurial fervour and empowering entrepreneurial activity.

Funds raised at last year’s golf day assisted the foundation in the continuation of community building, 2022 bursaries, disaster relief and the day-to-day running of the organisation.

The focus and goal of this year’s event are to raise enough funds to continue awarding bursaries to deserving candidates to assist with school fees and other educational needs, establish a food bank and provide 1 000 disadvantaged homes with Christmas grocery hampers.

The day of golf will be followed by a fun-filled prize-giving and networking dinner.
