The following crimes were reported to Brakpan police over the past weekend:
Friday – A car parked at an address along Kingsway Avenue was broken into. The vehicle’s battery, and tools valued at over R1 000, were stolen.
Saturday – Computers valued at R40 000 were stolen during a burglary at a business along Beechwood Street in Dalpark.
Sunday – A residence in Wenden Avenue was burgled of a laptop, cellphone and tools. The intruder was disturbed by the home’s occupant.
• Tools, a two-plate stove, a microwave and clothing with a combined value of over R30 000 were stolen during a break-in at a home along Muir Avenue.
