These Brenthurst Primary School learners make up the school's U12 soccer squad.

Brenthurst Primary School soccer players were recently acknowleged for their performance on the pitch and dedication to the game.

Special soccer awards were also presented to learners in different categories.

The awards and recipients were:

• Youngest promising player of the year: Kemoratile Mashigo
• Players’ player of the season U12: Fezeka Vundla
• Players’ player of the season: Lebohang Maroba
• Player of the season: Bokang Shabangu
• Consistent player: Mohau Mokoena
• Defender of the season: Namhla Mgcina and Bokang Shabangu
• Midfielder of the season: Raiden Fisher and Luyanda Ntuli
• Top goal scorer: Raiden Fisher and Lwandle Mtshali
• Best goalkeeper of the season: Mpilo Motaung
• Promising goalkeeper of the year: Siphesihle Dlamini.

These Brenthurst Primary School soccer players participated in an Easterns competition, an accomplishment of which the school is extremely proud. The learners are, back: Sibonubuhle Hadebe, Sibusiso Mthethwa, Sekelo Maseko and Mpilo Motaung. Front: Lebohang Maroba, Mohau Mokoena, Bokang Shabangu, Luyanda Ntuli and Siphesihle Dlamini.
